Five generations in the workplace
700 colleagues learn from each other!
There are currently five generations in the workplace: unique in our 80-year history. But how do you get the best out of all those generations? We learned this on June 21 together with more than 700 colleagues during the study afternoon!
All employees were warmly welcomed at the Fokker Terminal by our director Zoë Kwint. Then the lights went out and it was time for the Big Generation Show: an interactive theater show in which different generations were discussed. How does Gen Z actually experience a job interview? And why is it that generation X seems to love meetings so much? In addition to many hilarious moments, the show also provided great insights. By connecting with each other and putting ourselves in the other person's shoes, these major generational differences become a lot smaller.
After the show we competed in teams for first place in the five-generation quiz. There too we learned a lot about each other's history and from each other. This way we have a great time together, also for the next generation(s)!
