Bso 2Zeppelins makes Ratatouille boat for Varend Corso Westland
Feline, Sylke, Julian, Tom, Dewi, Thijn and Juley made at out-of-school care 2Zeppelins another cool youth boat. Of course, 2Samen will be there again during the 25th Sailing Corso Westland. Great that they are celebrating an anniversary at the same time as our 80th anniversary! The seven great ones and their out-of-school care buddies chose a Ratatouille boat that perfectly matched the tasteful parade theme. They are very proud and look back enthusiastically on their participation and their three sailing days.
The children chose the mouse Remy who likes to cook and bake, because they do that too. They made all the attributes themselves. For example, do you see the tomato, the corn on the cob and the mountain of pasta with tomato sauce and the cheese for the mouse? And what about the arches with the ladles and whisks attached to them for preparing the treats? Real vegetables should not be missing and of course the Westland flowers in the same color of an eggplant, pepper and zucchini. The red and white checked tablecloth and the chefs, or should we say 'mice', on board complete it completely. A nice whole!
The parade lasted three days. They beamed with joy every day and waved to everyone on the sidelines. On to next year!
