Successful fundraising campaign for the Westland Food Bank
The toddlers at 2Eekhoorns en 2Pinguïns The people in Naaldwijk were growing increasingly enthusiastic. We organized a free, non-perishable food collection for the Food Bank there. December is often all about cheer, light, warmth, and sharing a meal. But for 540 people in Westland, this isn't a given. They have to rely on the Food Bank for their groceries.
It's fantastic that our contributions helped the annual food bank campaign achieve such exceptional results this year. A whopping 75 crates of non-perishable products were collected for the Food Bank, easily breaking their existing record.
2Samen has great respect for the valuable efforts of the volunteers at the Food Bank. They always go the extra mile during the dark month of December. With our help, we can make these days festive, enjoyable, and easy for every resident of Westland.
Until December 23rd, the children, on behalf of parents and staff who could afford it, collected all sorts of groceries. They put everything in the box in the hallway themselves, until there was almost no room left. So they looked for a second box and decorated it with drawings. On December 24th, we delivered the pasta, peanut butter, sauces, cleaning products, shower products, and so on to Monster. The Food Bank is making sure residents have their groceries before Christmas. Here's to a wonderful time for everyone!
