Nice and stubborn Children's Book Festival
Follow in the footsteps of Pippi Longstocking
We festively concluded the Children's Book Week on November 13, 2024 with a 'Lekker eigenwijze' workshop during the Children's Book Festival! And who is more stubborn than... Pippi Longstocking? That's why the children were allowed to decorate long stockings with fabric markers, take a picture as Pippi and dream away while reading to Trudy Kersten.
Young and old, girls and boys: everyone felt like a Pippi. Some children already knew everything about it because they had read the book or watched the series. Others stepped into the story with curiosity. “And if my long stocking is ready, then I just start on my own socks!”, a mother saw happen to her son.
We noticed that our activity has made young and old enthusiastic about reading pleasure! A stubborn bull's eye. On to the next Children's Book Festival, because of course 2Samen will be there again.
