Reading breakfast in the Book Museum
Children enjoy!
This morning was the start of the National Reading Days and what a party it was again! Everywhere at 2Samen, children are read from the book 'Help, a surprise!', about August the fox who really doesn't like surprises. Police officers, writers and even a mayor came to our locations to read. Like every year, we were also present at the Children's Book Museum, where director Aad Meinderts read to the children 2Kabouters. A wonderful start to these Reading Days until February 4, ending with a delicious breakfast.
Take a look at the photos and see who all came to read for our groups. Nice!
- Children's book author Lizette de Koning read to the children of 2Ruiters.
- At 2Ballonnen the main character of the story, August the fox, came to read it himself!
- The children of 2Krekels were visited in the library by none other than Uncle Willem.
- Councilor Goudswaard read to the children of 2Pinguins!
You take children to another world for a moment. An experience that will hopefully lead to them later enjoying picking up a book or reading an e-book.
