Administrative merger of 2Samen and DAK
Collective Child Development
DAK childcare centers and Childcare 2Samen have had one umbrella board since January 1. Under the name Collective Child Development, we can make an even stronger commitment to offering optimal growth and development opportunities to as many children as possible in the Haaglanden and Westland region. It is a response to the increasing inequality of opportunity in the region and the growing shortage in the labor market.
2Samen and DAK are foundations in the region that jointly provide care to more than 11.000 children at 166 locations. The childcare organizations share, among other things, the mission to offer every child, regardless of background and origin, optimal starting opportunities.
By bundling their expertise, the organizations strengthen themselves to offer children optimal development, together with schools, municipalities and other organizations in the neighborhood. This includes making high-quality and affordable childcare and preschool education even more accessible, but also making ongoing development and learning paths for children better aligned.
