Childcare at both of our Road2School locations in The Hague is standard, yet a little different. Children aged 0 to 13, with or without special needs, are welcome here. We believe every child deserves the best care. We prioritize their talents and the challenges they face in their young lives. We also take differences in aptitude, attention span, and pace for granted. That's why our approach at Road2School is slightly different from that of other 2Samen locations.
Your child will experience playful and educational opportunities every day—or half days—for optimal social development. With fewer children and more childcare professionals per group, we ensure the right level of attention, allowing your child to flourish. We focus even more on your child's spontaneous activity and interests, in a relaxed and creative way. By exploring independently and working at their own pace, they will feel good and grow in confidence. That's what we do it for! Personal development
"We see you and you belong" applies to every child at our school. We understand that differences in aptitude and pace are natural. Your child has talents they can discover and develop. At all 2Samen locations, we give children the space to develop optimally through play. At Road2School, our approach is slightly different. We monitor and encourage all aspects of your child's personal development. We pay special attention to social skills, such as collaboration and communication. And we work on creativity and problem-solving.
A beautiful time
Fun and play give your child the opportunity to grow and explore in a pleasant, homely environment. This fosters, for example, self-confidence and independence. As their social skills develop, they can open up to other children and adults and learn to trust them. At your own level and pace
0 years
Your child from 0 to 4 years can go to a group for babies and toddlers. We call this a vertical group. Being in the same group for a longer period can provide more structure. Half-day care is also available if your child can't handle a full day yet. For toddlers, we offer Preschool Education Your child unconsciously absorbs many impressions. For example, they're sensitive to learning to walk and talk, and they're constantly looking around. That's why we create a varied environment for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. It's important that your child gains a lot of experience during this time. They learn naturally and playfully. With us, they always learn at their own level and pace.
2 years
Your child from 2 to 5 years can go to a toddler group. He will remain in this group until the age of five if the transition to primary school is still too big or if you are waiting for a place in special education. Half-day care is also available if a full day is too long. We offer toddlers Preschool Education Your child is consciously engaged with their surroundings. They're examining the world in detail, practicing the things they see in everyday life, and expanding their vocabulary. It's important that they're actively engaged. For example, it's helpful to repeat things repeatedly. Your toddler is embarking on a journey of discovery. With us, always at their own level and pace.
4 years
Your child from 4 to 13 years can attend after-school care. Your child is getting to know themselves better and better. They have a powerful imagination and are developing the ability to understand things. They absorb knowledge and are interested in norms, values, and rules. They participate in activities with others and are curious about the world around them. Through games, physical education, and assignments, they learn to manage school skills and play together with friends in a fun and playful way. With us, they always learn at their own level and pace. In the small group, they receive plenty of attention and feel at home and relaxed more quickly.
