New managing director

Zoë Kwint-Elkerbout (1971) was appointed as the new Managing Director of Kinderopvang 2Samen by the Supervisory Board. She starts on 1 November 2018 and succeeds Wim van Ogtrop, who left the organisation in 2017. Since then, Sander Schrover served as Managing Director ad interim.

Zoë Kwint previously held several roles within the secondary education system.  She’s currently Rector of the Stedelijk Gymnasium in Haarlem. Until recently, she was also the Chairperson of the OSZG, the education foundation for independent gymnasia, with 450 members of staff and approximately 4000 pupils. In that role, she was responsible for the coordination with and between the Supervisory Board, the executive board and the participation council.

In addition to her career, she’s been politically active in Amsterdam: as chair of the municipality of Amsterdam-Noord’s city council and as vice chair of the city council of Amsterdam. She’s also a supervisor for several social and cultural organisations.
