About after-school care 2Bijen
As of August 26, 2024, this new after-school care facility, 2Bijen, is open. It is located in the Vruchtenbuurt neighborhood on the grounds of the Achilles korfball club . Because we use their sports fields, our offerings are primarily focused on sports and games activities. So, plenty of outdoor play and physical activity. Indoors, there is also a pleasant space for the children with various corners for building, crafting, imaginative play, and reading.
The children are at 2Bijen on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Wednesdays and Fridays, during the holidays and margin days, we join and join the groups BSO 2Zonnetjes.

What is special about BSO 2Bijen
Unique outdoor sports area
2Bijen is located in the Vruchtenbuurt on the grounds of the Achilles korfball club . Because we use their sports fields, our offerings for children are primarily focused on sports and games activities. So, lots of outdoor play and physical activity. Indoors, there is a lovely space for the children with various corners for building, crafting, imaginative play, and reading.
Activities after school care
We can enjoy lots of sports and exercise on the Achilles korfball fields . We also visit the Gagelhoeve city farm across the road, the picking garden, and the playgrounds in the area. Sometimes we also go to the beach, the thrift store, or the environmental education center in the Zuiderpark.
Attention for every child
The most important thing is that every child can relax and have fun together with their friends. They have the free choice to participate in our planned activities or to play on their own with friends in one of the challenging corners.
Special workshops and holiday program
With 2Samen KICKS, children experience (afternoon) days full of fun and educational games, workshops, experiences and holiday programs such as survival and camp days. A varied and development-oriented program, for which you do not have to pay anything extra.

After-school care 2Bijen has two out-of-school care groups, divided by age. One group is for 4 and 5 year olds and the other group is for children from 6 years old. The group size varies from 10 to 20 children.

15:00 PM – Pick upSchool is out. We pick up the youngest children from class and the older children come to us independently on the square. Are we complete? Then we go to the out-of-school care!

15:15 PM – SnackWe start together with a snack. Fresh fruit, vegetables, crackers or bread and something to drink. We chat with each other and discuss what we are going to do this afternoon.

15:30 PM – Chill or play!Bso is free time. Children decide for themselves what they want to do, alone or with each other. Chilling with a book, playing outside, doing crafts, baking... We connect with what interests the children.

15:45 PM – ActivityA KICKS activity is planned today. Of course, children help decide: spraying graffiti, building Lego, climbing trees, theater lessons... plenty of challenges and experiences!

17:00 PM – End of dayWhen picking up, we like to make time to talk to parents about the afternoon. If children are allowed to go home themselves, we would also like to stay in touch. We look forward to next time.

At locations with a waiting list, we are dependent on cancellations or changes in planning. In addition, your desired start date, the number of days you want to take, your preferred days and any priority criterion play a role; for example, brothers and sisters have priority at 2Samen.
